Whilst we can take last minute orders we suggest at least a 2 weeks minimum to avoid disappointment.
Wedding cake orders should be secured at least 1 month in advance.
If you are looking for a last minute cake, give us a call and we'll try everything to accommodate you.
Booking Terms & Conditions
Securing Your Order:
To secure your requested date and commence the creation of your bespoke cake, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total quoted price is required.
No work, including design sketches or material procurement, will commence on any cake order until the aforementioned deposit has been received and payment confirmed.
Confirmation of your booking is subject to the availability of your requested date.
Quotation and Pricing:
Provided quotations are valid for a period of three (3) calendar days from the date of issuance. Acceptance beyond this timeframe may be subject to price revision due to potential fluctuations in material costs or scheduling demands.
The total quoted price is inclusive of GST unless otherwise specified.
Additional charges may apply for complexities in design, intricate decorations, or specific material requests not outlined in the initial quotation. These will be communicated for your approval prior to commencement.
Order Details and Confirmation:
It is the client’s responsibility to thoroughly review the order confirmation, including all design specifications, flavor selections, size, and collection/delivery details, and notify Blow the Candle of any discrepancies within [Specify Timeframe, e.g., 24 hours] of receipt.
Any changes requested after this confirmation period may not be feasible or may incur additional charges.
Final Payment:
The remaining balance, constituting 50% of the total quoted price, is due in full no later than three (3) calendar days prior to the scheduled date of cake collection or delivery.
Payment can be made via [List Accepted Payment Methods, e.g., bank transfer, credit card (surcharges may apply), cash].
Failure to remit final payment by the stipulated deadline may result in the cancellation of the order, and the initial deposit will be forfeited.
Design Modifications:
Requests for alterations to the mutually agreed-upon design will be considered subject to their feasibility and the production schedule. Blow the Candle reserves the right to refuse design modifications that may compromise the structural integrity or overall quality of the cake.
Any modifications approved may incur additional charges based on the extent of the changes and the materials required. These charges will be communicated to the client for approval prior to implementation.
A limited timeframe applies for the submission of design change requests, typically no later than [Specify Timeframe, e.g., 7 days] prior to the event date to allow for adequate preparation.
Order Cancellation:
In the event of a client-initiated cancellation, the initial 50% deposit is strictly non-refundable, as it covers administrative costs, design time, and material reservations.
For cancellations made within [Specify Timeframe, e.g., 72 hours] of the scheduled collection or delivery date, the full outstanding balance will be payable, as the cake creation process may be nearing completion or already finalized.
In the unlikely event that Blow the Candle needs to cancel an order due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund of all payments received will be provided.
Collection and Delivery:
The client is responsible for adhering to the confirmed date and time for cake collection from our premises in Ryde, New South Wales, or the agreed-upon delivery address and time.
For deliveries, a specific delivery window will be provided. The client or a designated representative must be available to receive and sign for the cake at the agreed-upon location and time.
Any client-initiated changes to the scheduled collection or delivery time within [Specify Timeframe, e.g., 24 hours] of the original schedule may be subject to additional delivery fees and are contingent upon Blow the Candle’s availability.
Blow the Candle is not responsible for any damage to the cake once it has been collected by the client or successfully delivered and signed for. Proper handling and storage become the client’s responsibility thereafter.
Allergies and Dietary Requirements:
The client bears the sole responsibility for informing Blow the Candle, in writing, of any known allergies or specific dietary requirements (e.g., gluten-free, vegan) at the time of order placement.
While Blow the Candle takes utmost care to accommodate such requests, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment. Clients with severe allergies should be aware of potential cross-contamination.
Blow the Candle accepts no liability for adverse reactions resulting from undisclosed allergies or dietary restrictions.

Blow the Candle is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the order.

In such circumstances, Blow the Candle will communicate promptly with the client to discuss potential solutions.
